London: A tragic incident unfolded when Michelle Sadio, 44, was shot outside a church. It happened during a wake at the River of Life Elim Pentecostal Church in Willesden.
As she was leaving the church around 9:15 PM, shots rang out from a black Kia Niro. The car was later found abandoned and set on fire nearby.
Police have arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of her murder. They think Michelle might not have been the intended target, which is just heartbreaking.
Two other men in their 30s were also hurt in the shooting. One is still in the hospital, but thankfully, he’s in stable condition now. The other has been released.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Clarke is leading the investigation. He emphasized how important it is for anyone with information to come forward. This was a senseless act that took an innocent life.
