A 23-year-old man is in custody after three family members were found stabbed to death in a Baldwin Park home in California
Baldwin Park: A tragic scene unfolded when three people were found dead in a home. It’s a shocking situation, and it’s hard to believe it happened so close to home.
The victims were identified as Rona Nate, 44, Paul Sebastian Manangan, 16, and little Mia Chantelle Narvaez, just 8 years old. Such a heartbreaking loss for the family.
Authorities arrested a 23-year-old man, who lived at the house and was related to the victims. They haven’t released his name yet, which is probably for privacy reasons.
Police got a call about a disturbance and rushed to the scene. Neighbors reported seeing a girl running out of the house, crying for help. It must have been terrifying for everyone involved.
One neighbor, Nathan Garcia, shared that the girl was screaming for someone to call 911, saying her brother had stabbed their mom. Just imagine the chaos and fear in that moment.
When the police arrived, they found all three victims inside, each with multiple stab wounds. It’s just so tragic to think about what happened there.
The suspect tried to flee but crashed his car nearby and was caught by the police. Investigators confirmed he’s related to the family but haven’t shared more details about their relationship or what might have led to this horrific act.
Out of respect for the victims’ family, the sheriff’s department is keeping some information private for now. It’s a tough time for everyone involved.
There were other children in the home during the incident, but thankfully, they weren’t hurt. The case is now in the hands of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.
