A £50,000 reward is now available as police seek information on the unsolved murder of 14-year-old Lisa Hession in Greater Manchester four decades ago
Lisa was attacked in an alleyway near her home after returning from a party. Her mom, Christine, reported her missing shortly after she was due back. Sadly, Christine passed away in 2016 without ever knowing who killed her daughter.
The police have been working hard on this case, even using DNA evidence, but they still haven’t found a match. They’re urging anyone who might remember something from that night to come forward. Even the smallest detail could be crucial.
Martin Bottomley, who heads the cold case unit, reassured the community that they won’t give up on finding justice for Lisa. She was a bright young girl with so much potential, and it’s heartbreaking that her life was cut short. The case remains open, and they’re committed to following up on any new leads.
