An 87-year-old woman has died following injuries from a crash in Corstorphine, Edinburgh, prompting police to seek witnesses.
The vehicle involved was a black Ford Fiesta. Emergency services rushed her to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, but sadly, she passed away on January 3. Fortunately, no one else was hurt in the accident.
After the crash, the road was closed for investigation but reopened early the next morning. Sergeant Paul Ewing expressed condolences to the woman’s family, who are understandably seeking privacy during this tough time.
