Major roadworks at Halbeath Roundabout will start on January 12, aiming to improve traffic flow and safety for all road users.
Halbeath: The roadworks at Halbeath Roundabout are kicking off on Sunday, January 12. This project is part of a big maintenance effort costing around £800,000.
It’s all about making things better for drivers. They’ll be renewing bridge joints, upgrading traffic signals, and resurfacing the roads. Amey is handling the work for Transport Scotland.
These improvements are set to take about 12 weeks. Expect some road closures, especially on the M90 slip roads, to keep everyone safe.
There will be overnight and weekend closures, plus some partial closures of the roundabout itself. So, if you’re driving through, be ready for some detours.
From January to February, they’ll be doing some work at night, and then from February to March, they’ll upgrade the traffic signals. It’s all about keeping traffic flowing smoothly.
And don’t worry, they’ll have diversions in place to help you navigate around the construction.
