A three-year-old girl was nearly abducted in Wolverhampton, prompting police to investigate and seek public assistance.
Wolverhampton: So, there was this really scary incident where a man tried to grab a three-year-old girl. It happened outside her home on Leicester Street around 5:15 PM. Thankfully, her mom was there and stopped him before he could take her.
After that, the guy took off towards Harrow Street. The police are on it and have even released a CCTV image of a man they want to talk to. They think he’s mixed race, in his 20s or 30s, with brown eyes that looked a bit red.
He’s described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall, with short curly dark hair and some facial hair. The police are reassuring the community, saying this seems to be an isolated incident for now.
Detective Inspector Nicola Pestel mentioned that they’re working quickly to find this guy. They’re asking anyone who might have seen something or has doorbell or dashcam footage to come forward. It’s a tough situation, but the community is rallying together to help out.
