A BMW driver was caught speeding at 118mph on Christmas Day, sporting a sticker that humorously acknowledged their reckless driving.
Hampshire: So, there was this BMW driver who got pulled over for speeding at a whopping 118mph on the M27. And get this—they had a sticker on their car that said, “My driving scares me too.” Talk about irony, right?
It happened on Christmas Day, right around lunchtime. The police said the driver thought they could take advantage of the quieter roads. But, surprise! They were caught by the Roads Policing Unit.
The car was pretty flashy, with a big spoiler and a bunch of stickers all over it. Besides the one about their driving, there were others that read “Misunderstood” and “Too loud? Too bad!” Seems like they were trying to make a statement.
Hampshire Police took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to remind everyone that just because the roads were quiet, it didn’t mean you could treat them like a racetrack. They said, “This driver found out the hard way.”
Now, this driver has a court date coming up for their speeding charge. Guess they won’t be laughing about those stickers for a while!
