London: A body was found in the River Thames while searching for a man from Ipswich. Gurbaksh Sually, who went by Simon, was last seen on November 23 in the Bishopsgate and Hackney areas.

His family reported him missing the next day. They hadn’t seen him since, but the police mentioned his phone was active in Ipswich a few days later. That must have been tough for them.

His brother, Mohinder, shared how stressful the situation was. They searched everywhere in Ipswich, putting up flyers and asking around. At first, it felt hopeful, but as days passed without news, worry set in.

Now, with the body recovered near Wapping, the family has been informed. They haven’t officially identified the body yet, but it’s a significant development.

The Met Police had been looking for Gurbaksh, who was 37 years old. They confirmed the body was found on December 13, and they’re keeping the family updated as they wait for formal identification.

If anyone has more information, they’re encouraged to reach out. It’s a tough time for the family, and any help could make a difference.
