A seven-year-old girl suffered serious injuries in a quad bike accident, leading to the arrest and bail of a boy and two adults.
Kippax: A boy and two adults are out on bail after a seven-year-old girl got hurt in a quad bike crash on Boxing Day. It sounds pretty serious.
The girl was riding on a green quad bike when it crashed into a telegraph pole near the Old Tree Inn pub. That must have been a scary moment for everyone involved.
A 16-year-old boy was taken in by the police for allegedly driving dangerously. Meanwhile, a man and a woman in their 30s were also arrested for child neglect. Yikes!
All three have been released while the police keep investigating. They’re looking for anyone who might have seen the quad bike around Kippax that night.
The girl is in the hospital with serious injuries, but thankfully, they say her condition isn’t life-threatening. That’s a relief to hear.
The quad bike was taken away, and the road was cleared up by 1:30 PM. Let’s hope the girl recovers quickly and that this serves as a reminder to be safe out there.
