Corey Beavis, a 28-year-old Brit, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Thailand, leaving his family heartbroken.
Bangkok: A British tourist has sadly died in a motorcycle accident while in Thailand. Corey Beavis, just 28 years old and from Barry in Wales, passed away on Saturday.
His twin brother, Liam, shared his heartbreak with BBC Wales, calling Corey his “number one partner in crime.” He expressed how they lived life to the fullest together.
Liam said he would struggle with the pain but promised to make Corey proud. He added, “Rest easy big man, see you on the other side.”
The Foreign Office confirmed they are supporting Corey’s family and are in touch with local authorities. Meanwhile, his family is trying to raise funds to bring his body back to the UK.
Unfortunately, Corey didn’t have travel or life insurance, which makes the situation even tougher. They’ve set up a JustGiving page aiming to raise £35,000 to cover the costs.
The page shares how Corey was a bright light in any room, known for his infectious laugh and larger-than-life personality. His family is devastated and is asking for help to bring him home.
Tributes have been flooding in on social media, with many expressing their sorrow. One user wrote, “Rest in peace Corey Beavis! Mad to say!” while others shared their condolences.
