It all went down on December 7, just after 5 PM. The police are on the lookout for this guy, who’s been described as a “lone wolf.” He first tried a rear window but ended up climbing onto the roof before sneaking in through a second-floor window.

The mansion belongs to Shafira Huang, a social media influencer, and it’s huge—22,000 square feet! Interestingly, a neighboring house was having viewings around the same time, which raises some eyebrows. Was the burglar posing as a potential buyer to scope out the place?

According to Csaba Virag, who works for Huang, the burglar forced open a closed bathroom window and climbed in. He even used a bathroom sink to get inside. At the time, there were about eight people in the house, and it was pretty windy, so they thought a door banging was just the storm.

Security footage shows the burglar entering at 5:11 PM and leaving just 19 minutes later. He was wearing gloves and had a canister with him. He was meticulous, even putting back a Rolex box after taking the watch out. Crazy, right?

He ignored a safe filled with other valuables, which is odd. Virag suspects the burglar might have done some homework beforehand, possibly using the neighboring house to keep an eye on Huang’s place. He doesn’t think any of the staff were involved, either.

Police say the suspect is a white man in his late 20s to 30s, about 5’7″ to 5’8″ tall, wearing a dark hoodie and cargo pants. He made off with some seriously pricey stuff, including £150,000 worth of Hermès handbags and bespoke jewellery worth £10.4 million.

Among the stolen items were a stunning 10.73-carat diamond ring and some unique butterfly-shaped earrings. The family is offering a £500,000 reward for info leading to the burglar’s capture, plus 10% of the value of any recovered items.

Avenue Road is known for being one of the wealthiest streets in Britain, home to many billionaires and millionaires. Before the burglary, Huang was sharing her luxurious lifestyle on Instagram, but her account is now private.
