On Christmas Day, Cardamon Spice provided free meals to two families in need, hoping to spread joy and support in the community.
Forres: It’s heartwarming to see local businesses step up during the holidays. Cardamon Spice decided to give away free meals on Christmas Day, and they really hope more folks will join in next year.
Two families reached out to the restaurant at 66 High Street to claim their meals. It’s such a nice gesture, especially during a time when many might be struggling.
Located right in the center of Forres, Cardamon Spice has been doing this for a few years now. A spokesperson mentioned that they want to make sure no one goes hungry on Christmas.
They shared their plan on Facebook, inviting anyone in need to come by for a meal. Sadly, this year, they only found two families to help, even though they were ready to serve more.
In their post, they highlighted how Christmas can be a joyful time for many, but it can also feel lonely for some. They offered three meals to anyone who needed a little extra cheer on Christmas evening.
One family sent someone to pick up their meals, while another family of five got their food delivered. It’s all about lending a hand, and they don’t do it for the praise, but they sure appreciate the love they receive in return!
