A brazen thief stole £10m in luxury items, narrowly escaping capture by just 63 seconds during a mansion raid in North London

This guy spent 19 minutes rummaging through a massive 13-bedroom mansion before he finally made his escape. And get this, there were about eight people in the house at the time!
The homeowners are so desperate to catch him that they’ve put up a £1.5 million reward. That’s some serious cash for info!
Among the stolen items were some jaw-dropping pieces, like a Graff diamond ring and a Hermes necklace. The thief was a white guy in his late 20s to 30s, dressed in a dark hoodie and cargo pants.
He broke in through a second-floor window and got into a safe that held some of the most valuable jewels. Can you imagine the panic?
A family spokesperson said that if a staff member had entered the room just a minute earlier, they would have run right into the thief. Yikes!
One of the victims, Shafira Huang, is an art collector and cultural ambassador. Reports say the thief had some sort of noxious spray with him, which is pretty scary.
He even almost bumped into a maid while he was in there! It’s still unclear if he had inside info or if it was just a lucky break for him.
Along with the jewellery, he also snagged some pricey handbags and cash. The police are on the hunt for several missing items, including a fancy ring and a diamond-studded clip.
Csaba Virag, the family’s chief of staff, mentioned that the thief seemed experienced. Even though he acted alone, he’ll likely need help to sell those stolen gems.
