Winchester: The Alton branch of Chicken Rescue UK is on the lookout for folks to adopt hundreds of chickens before January 18. They really need some help!

These hens are coming from a free-range farm, and the farmer is hoping to find them loving homes since they won’t be returning to the commercial egg market.

On their Facebook page, Chicken Rescue UK – Alton shared that they still need to find homes for these lovely girls before the deadline. It’s a bit of a race against time!

The farmer just wants these sweet ginger hens to enjoy their retirement in a cozy home. If you think you can help, they encourage you to visit their website and fill out a reservation form.

They have several collection points, including Alton, Nottingham, and of course, Winchester. So, if you’re interested, check out their site for more details on how to adopt a chicken!
