Liverpool: So, there was quite a scene today in the city centre. A building got evacuated because of a suspicious package. It all went down on Union Street, right near The Capital Building.

The call came in around 12:50 PM, and Merseyside Police jumped into action. They closed off Union Street and cleared out the building, which is the biggest office space in Liverpool. Safety first, right?

They even set up a cordon on Rumford Place, telling everyone to steer clear of the area. There were loads of police around, and office workers had to hang out on the other side of the road, away from the building.

Oh, and the Tesco Express next door? Yep, they evacuated that too. If anyone knows anything about the package, the police are asking you to reach out to them. Better safe than sorry!
