Clacton Pier is gearing up for a fantastic 2025 with a lineup of fun events, ensuring there’s something for everyone throughout the year
Clacton: The folks at Clacton Pier are really excited about their plans for 2025. They’ve been working hard to put together a great events program, taking notes from what visitors have enjoyed in the past.
Over the years, these events have become a hit, especially during the quieter months. General manager Harry Peek mentioned that while the rides are open year-round, the events are designed to attract more visitors when things slow down.
They’ve been listening to feedback from loyal customers, which is super important. Many attendees filled out questionnaires, and those insights are shaping the future of the events.
Next month, they kick things off with February Frenzy, running from February 15-23. It’s a great deal with half-price wristbands, perfect for families looking for some fun.
Then, in April, they’ll have Eggcellent Easter from April 5-21, featuring the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt. Sounds like a blast!
In May, Jurassic Half Term will bring back life-size walking dinosaurs from May 24-31. How cool is that? After a summer break, Oktoberfest will return for three weekends in September and October, complete with live entertainment and tasty German food.
Harry Peek shared that they’re expanding Oktoberfest this year, moving from two weekends to three, which is awesome news for fans of the event.
As Halloween approaches, the pier will host a Halloween Festival from October 25 to November 2, filled with spooky fun for everyone.
Finally, they’ll wrap up the year with a Magical Christmas experience, featuring Santa’s grotto open on select dates in late November and December. Plus, there will be 11 free fireworks shows and a carnival night on August 8 to celebrate the town’s carnival week.
