When he was first convicted, he served 11 years before being released. But then, between 1977 and 1979, he assaulted seven women in Bristol. The police had to set up undercover operations to catch him. It was a big deal back then!
One officer even had a terrifying encounter with him. He grabbed her and threatened her. It’s just chilling to think about. He ended up getting a 39-year sentence for his crimes.
