Community Sauna is set to open new sites in Camberwell and Walthamstow, enhancing affordable wellness options in London
London: The popular Community Sauna is making waves by opening two new locations. Everyone’s been raving about their affordable sauna sessions, and now even more folks can join in on the fun.
Started in Hackney Wick back in 2021, Community Sauna is all about bringing local, budget-friendly sauna experiences to the UK. They already have four spots in London, including Hackney Wick, Stratford, Bermondsey, and Peckham. But guess what? They’re adding two more in Camberwell and Walthamstow this Spring!
The Walthamstow site will be on Sutherland Road and will feature three communal saunas that can hold up to 50 people. Plus, they’ll have a wheelchair-accessible sauna and a community garden for everyone to enjoy.
Over in Camberwell, the new sauna will be nestled in Ruskin Park. Both locations will offer saunas for individual use, plunge pools, cold baths, changing rooms, showers, and a chill-out area.
Community Sauna is also planning creative events for locals, along with concession rates and social prescriptions. They host fun activities like a swim for mums and a unique experience called ‘Suanasthesia’ for the community.
