Corey Pritchett, known as CoreySSG, is charged with aggravated kidnapping of two women in Texas, prompting a manhunt.
Houston: So, there’s this YouTuber and rapper, Corey Pritchett Jr., or CoreySSG as his fans know him. He’s in some serious trouble. He’s been charged with aggravated kidnapping involving two women, and it looks like he might have skipped town to the Middle East before the charges were even filed.
According to reports, this all went down on November 24. Corey allegedly threatened these women at gunpoint and then just left them stranded on a Texas highway in the dead of night. Not cool, right?
Fast forward to December 26, and a warrant was out for his arrest. The FBI thinks he took a one-way flight to Qatar on December 9. They figured out he was planning to leave the U.S. after checking his social media. His phone was even disconnected when they tried to reach him.
The complaint says the women were terrified. Corey reportedly told them, “I’m gonna **** and then kill y’all.” That’s pretty chilling. He even tried to justify his actions online, saying he was going to show everyone how to deal with “monsters” and that he had the best lawyer in Houston.
Corey got famous on YouTube for his fun videos about family and relationships with his ex-wife. But things took a dark turn when he met one of the women just two days before the incident. They were all hanging out, and everything seemed fine until they went bowling.
After bowling, he offered to give them a ride home. But then he started acting really weird, saying he thought someone was after him. Instead of heading to their place, he drove in the opposite direction, speeding down the highway.
The women tried to tell him he was going the wrong way, but he just got more frantic. He even pulled out a gun and made a call to someone saved in his phone as “Future Wife,” asking if he should kidnap the women. She said yes, which is just wild.
At that point, the women knew they were in serious danger. Corey took their phones, fired his gun out the window, and threatened them. Eventually, he pulled over and told them to get out, leaving them stranded on the highway.
After an hour of trying to get help, a driver finally stopped and let them call 911. The police were able to piece everything together with some tracking info from one of the women’s phones. Now, Corey could be facing arrest in Qatar and might even be extradited back to the U.S. for this mess.
