An investigation is underway regarding the alleged unauthorized opening of a venue in Armagh city centre over the weekend
Armagh: So, there’s been a bit of a stir in Armagh city centre. The council has kicked off an investigation after a venue opened up without the proper permissions over the weekend.
It all started when a new shop on Thomas Street decided to celebrate its opening day on Saturday. People were having a good time, but some folks were worried about whether everything was above board.
Social media lit up with questions, and some even reached out to Armagh I to ask if the venue had the right licenses. It seems like a few people were a bit concerned about the whole situation.
On Monday morning, the council held an internal meeting to discuss the matter. They’ve decided that the venue will stay closed until they sort out the licensing and planning issues.
A spokesperson from the council mentioned they’re aware of the situation and are looking into it. They’ll be talking to the venue operators to make sure everything is sorted out properly before they can reopen.
