Bournemouth: A 20-year-old criminology student, Nasen Saadi, is on trial for the murder of 34-year-old Amie Gray. The court heard he had researched ways to kill before the attack.

On May 24, Saadi allegedly targeted Gray and another woman, Leanne Miles, while they were sitting by a fire on Durley Chine beach. Prosecutors claim he wanted to experience what it felt like to take a life.

During the trial, it was revealed that Saadi had asked his lecturers about murder methods, prompting one to question if he was planning a murder. He had also done extensive online research about knives and even the murder of Brianna Ghey.

On the night of the attack, he approached the women stealthily with a knife, stabbing them multiple times. Afterward, he tried to dispose of evidence and change his appearance to evade capture.

Saadi has pleaded guilty to not providing his phone code to police but denies the murder and attempted murder charges. The trial is ongoing, and the details are chilling.
