A father is heartbroken as his cat, a local favorite, goes missing from outside Tesco Express in Halling, leaving the community concerned.
Halling: A dad is really worried about his missing cat, Jagěr. She’s known as the “security guard” at Tesco Express, always greeting customers.
Tony Pickard, her owner, says she didn’t come home on December 12, which is super unusual for her. He’s been searching everywhere.
Jagěr is 11 years old and has become quite the local celebrity. Tony lives close to the Tesco, and she used to hang out there all the time.
While the store was being built, she made it her playground. Now, she waits outside to get pets and attention from everyone who passes by.
She’s even got a shout-out on the supermarket’s Google reviews! Tony quickly posted on Facebook when she went missing, and he got a lot of support.
Some folks even knocked on his door to help look for her. He heard that someone at a nearby building site had been feeding her for a while.
His kids are really upset about Jagěr’s disappearance. She was adopted from Battersea in 2016, and they all love her dearly.
Tony mentioned that his son usually spends time with her in the mornings, and he’s really missing her. He’s just hoping someone will bring her back.
“Please, if you find her, just leave her next to Tesco, and she’ll come home,” he pleaded.
