Track repairs in Ladywell will impact Southeastern services on the Hayes Line starting January 6
London: So, here’s the scoop. Network Rail has announced that starting January 6, the Hayes Line is going to see some changes. They’re doing repair work on the tracks at Ladywell.
This damage means that trains will be affected for a bit. The repairs are expected to take about three weeks, and they need some special parts to get everything back on track.
Now, here’s the kicker: several stations will be impacted. We’re talking about Ladywell, Catford Bridge, Lower Sydenham, New Beckenham, and a few others. If you’re planning to travel, you might want to check your route.
For those heading towards London, some trains won’t stop at Eden Park or New Beckenham during the day and especially during peak hours. It’s a bit of a hassle, I know.
And if you’re coming from London, the same goes for those stations. But don’t worry, during peak times, some trains will still make those stops.
Network Rail is urging everyone to plan ahead and give yourself some extra time for your journeys. It’s a good idea to check your travel plans on Sunday night for Monday’s commute.
