Hobart: So, here’s the scoop. The daughter of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos, Analisa Josefa Corr, and her husband got into some serious trouble on a Jetstar flight. They were banned from drinking on planes after a drunken brawl.
It all went down on a flight from Hobart to Sydney. Apparently, they were causing quite a scene with their rowdy behavior. The Australian federal police had to step in and escort them off the plane.
Ms. Corr was accused of grabbing another passenger while trying to exit the aircraft toilet. Yikes! They were also drinking alcohol they brought on board, which is a big no-no.
Both of them pleaded not guilty to charges related to their behavior and drinking. Each charge could hit them with a hefty fine, so they’re in a bit of a pickle.
Ms. Corr is also facing an assault charge, which could land her in prison for up to two years. They appeared in court recently to change their bail conditions and get their passports back, and it seems the prosecutor didn’t oppose their request.
Jetstar, while not directly commenting on this incident, made it clear that they won’t tolerate any disruptive behavior. They’re all about keeping their passengers and crew safe.
The next court date is set for February 24. By the way, Ms. Corr is an interior designer, and her husband is a former soldier. The police are reminding everyone to keep their cool at airports. Nobody wants to kick off the new year with a fine or worse!
