A drug dealer has been sentenced for sexually abusing a teenage girl after supplying her with cocaine in Birmingham
Birmingham: A drug dealer named Mohammed Mutasir has been sentenced to seven years in prison for multiple sexual offenses against a 15-year-old girl. He groomed her through social media back in April 2022, according to West Mercia Police.
After chatting online, they met up, and he gave her cocaine. Under the influence of drugs and alcohol, he sexually abused her in a car park. This wasn’t a one-time thing; it happened several times, with him supplying drugs before assaulting her.
Mutasir, who is 48 and from Aldgate Grove, was found guilty of four counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a child and two counts of supplying Class A drugs. His trial lasted a week at Worcester Crown Court last November.
Detective Constable Julia Proctor from the Child Exploitation Team said Mutasir’s actions were terrible. He built trust with the girl, only to exploit her for his own gain. While the court’s decision can’t erase the pain for the victim and her family, she hopes they can find some peace now that he’s behind bars.
She emphasized that no child should ever endure such horrific acts and encouraged anyone who has experienced child exploitation to come forward. The police take these reports very seriously and are committed to prosecuting offenders.
