The annual illuminated tractor run in Dingwall attracted many supporters, raising funds for local charities and creating a festive atmosphere
Organized by the Rotary Clubs of Inverness Riverside and Dingwall, along with the InverRoss Young Farmers, last year’s event raised £5000 for charity. This year’s total is still under wraps, but it’s sure to be impressive.
The funds will support great causes like Farmstrong and Young Lives vs Cancer, plus other local charities. It’s heartwarming to see the community come together for such important work.
The event kicked off on December 28, starting at Dingwall Mart. The tractors made a scenic loop through Strathpeffer, Jamestown, and Contin before heading back. The second leg took them through Dingwall High Street, Maryburgh, Conon Bridge, Muir of Ord, and Beauly, wrapping up at the Black Isle Showground.
The Rotary Club of Inverness Riverside praised the turnout, saying it was fantastic to see so many illuminated tractors raising money for good causes. They also thanked everyone who came out to support and donate.
Social media was buzzing with photos and videos from the event. Claire Blinko shared her excitement, saying the atmosphere was fantastic as the tractors rolled through Beauly. It was a well-organized event, and everyone enjoyed waving and cheering for a good cause.
