Meet five lovable dogs at Dogs Trust Basildon looking for caring forever homes
First up is Izzy, a five-year-old Rottweiler cross. She’s a sensitive girl who needs a calm, adult-only home where she can be the only pet. Izzy can be a bit shy, especially around men, so the staff suggest meeting her a few times before taking her home. When out for walks, she’ll need to be on a lead and muzzled since new situations can stress her out.
Then there’s Lady Ruby Waggington, a clever Dutch Shepherd cross. This smart lady is looking for a quiet adult-only home with just one or two people. She prefers a rural setting away from busy roads and doesn’t like a lot of visitors. Once she trusts you, she turns into a real cuddle bug!
Next is Bailey Boo, an 11-year-old Lurcher cross. She’s a sweet girl who came to the center through no fault of her own. Bailey would thrive in a home without other pets but can live with kids aged 11 and up. She’ll need some help getting used to being left alone, so a patient owner would be ideal.
Suki, a German Shepherd cross, is another sensitive soul looking for her forever family. She’s been in kennels for a while and needs an adult-only home with few visitors. Suki can be anxious, especially around men, so she’ll need to be muzzled and on a lead during walks. A secure garden would be a big plus for her!
Lastly, we have Forest, a Siberian Husky cross. He’s been at the center for over six months and is labeled as an “underdog.” Forest needs a home without visiting children but can live with another dog after a proper introduction. He’s a clever boy who loves to be active, but he’ll need a family experienced with rescue dogs since he can be fearful of new people.
If any of these pups sound like a good fit for you, consider visiting Dogs Trust Basildon to meet them!
