Recovery teams were busy, with one firm saying they got called out to about 30 incidents. That’s a lot of unhappy drivers! The garage had to shut down for a bit to sort things out.
BP confirmed that there was an issue with a contaminated tank and said they’re looking into it. They’ve isolated the affected tank, and the station is back open now, but it’s been a hassle for everyone involved.
