Callum Brown faces jail after being caught with cocaine, LSD, and £40,000 in drug money, operating in Newbury and Aldermaston.
The court heard this on February 3rd. Brown is 22 years old and lived in Aldermaston. He was supposed to have a trial for supplying Class A drugs but he changed his plea before the jury.
Brown admitted to seven charges. These included possessing cocaine and LSD with the intent to supply. He also had £40,490 illegally.
These crimes happened between January and June 2024 in Newbury and Aldermaston. Brown has prior convictions, including machete possession and making death threats. He also had convictions for drug dealing and assault.
Others convictions were for dangerous driving while disqualified. Andrew Jordan, the prosecutor, stated Brown faced assaults before. Jordan thinks Brown was a drug user, leading him into dealing drugs. He had a significant, but not leading, role. Stuart Dingle defended Brown.
Dingle said Brown knows his sentence will be severe and that he suffered assaults, causing him considerable health issues. The judge delayed sentencing Brown.
Judge Roques mentioned Brown involved others in dealing. Brown pleaded guilty to all facts. Being a victim of violence did not change his role. The judge warned Brown to expect prison.
Another person, Georgina Blandford, age 21, was charged with drug offenses. She will not be prosecuted now.
