A Hartlepool man has been sentenced after sexually assaulting two women while under the influence of alcohol
Hartlepool: So, there’s this guy named Anthony Gill who really messed up. He was out drinking and ended up targeting two women in the street and at the railway station.
First, he approached a student, trying to chat her up. She wasn’t having it, but he grabbed her and tried to kiss her. Thankfully, she managed to break free.
Then, at the railway station, he went after another woman. He actually dragged her to the ground and kissed her, saying something creepy like, “this will be good for us.” Yikes!
The court heard he had been causing trouble all day, even smashing car windows and trying to steal booze from Asda. Not a good look, right?
When he got to court, he pleaded guilty to two sexual assault charges and a few others for the damage he caused. His lawyer said he was sorry for his actions now that he’s sober.
The judge wasn’t too pleased with him, saying his behavior was disgraceful. He got a community order and has to attend rehab sessions to sort himself out.
