Dustbin Dave has revealed his top ten bins worldwide, featuring a standout design from Torquay that carries a meaningful message
Torquay: A rubbish bin enthusiast, known as Dustbin Dave, has made headlines with his quirky hobby of photographing bins. He recently shared his top ten favorite bins from around the world, and one of them is right in Torquay.
Dave Clarke, 54, has gained quite a following for his unique passion. He started a Facebook page called Bins Fantastic, where fans send in their own bin photos. Now, he has over 4,000 images from all over the globe.
His favorite bin this year is a crab-themed one from Fuerteventura, but he also highlighted a classic design from Torquay that carries a brilliant message. Dave believes bins in seaside towns are often more fun and creative compared to the standard council bins found in many UK cities.
He’s also passionate about keeping the UK tidy. Dave pointed out that litter is a big issue here compared to other countries. He’s noticed that many European countries have advanced waste management systems, including underground bins and impressive recycling efforts.
From South Africa to Torquay, Dave’s list includes a variety of bins that caught his eye. Each one has its own charm, and he’s excited to share them with the world.
