Poole: An elderly couple was found dead in their seaside home on New Year’s Eve, and it’s really sad. The police are looking into what happened.
The couple, both in their 70s, lived in a nice detached house in Lilliput, near Poole Harbour. They were discovered yesterday morning, and sadly, they were pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers and paramedics rushed over, but there was nothing they could do. The police have started an investigation to figure out the details, but it seems like no one else was involved.
They’ve already informed the couple’s next of kin and the local coroner. Detective Inspector Ian Allen mentioned how tragic this is and that they’re doing their best to support the family.
He also said they’re working hard to find out exactly what happened. They’ve set up a cordon around the house to investigate thoroughly.
Right now, they don’t think anyone else was involved, but they’re asking anyone with information to reach out to them. They’re trying to piece together a timeline from the Christmas holidays until now.
