Elon Musk criticizes PM Sir Keir Starmer for not prosecuting grooming gangs during his tenure as chief prosecutor
London: So, Elon Musk really went after Sir Keir Starmer yesterday. He’s not holding back at all. Musk accused the PM of dropping the ball on prosecuting grooming gangs when he was chief prosecutor. That’s a pretty serious claim!
He took to X and said Starmer was “complicit in the RAPE OF BRITAIN” during his six years in charge. Wow, that’s some strong language! Musk’s post got over 12 million views, so it’s definitely making waves.
No 10 didn’t say much, but some ministers jumped in to defend Starmer. Health Secretary Wes Streeting said Musk’s comments were “misjudged” and “misinformed.” He even invited Musk to help out if he’s interested.
Another minister, Andrew Gwynne, suggested Musk should focus on issues back in the U.S. instead. Meanwhile, victims of the Rotherham child abuse scandal are calling for a full investigation into grooming gangs, which is a big deal.
One victim, Sammy Woodhouse, said people won’t take this seriously until there’s real action. It’s clear this issue isn’t going away anytime soon, and people are demanding answers.
