Essex: The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) is reaching out to folks to donate any unwanted Christmas gifts or items they don’t need anymore. They have nine charity shops across Essex, including one at 412 Rayleigh Road in Eastwood.

These donations are super important. They help fund critical emergency care and also cut down on waste, which is great for the environment.

Lee Hodgins, who heads up retail at EHAAT, shared how amazing their supporters are. Whether it’s donating or shopping, every little bit helps keep their life-saving services running.

He emphasized that donating isn’t just about clearing out your closet. It’s about making a real impact in the community.

Your unwanted gifts can help save lives, give items a second chance, and protect our planet.

They’re also looking for volunteers in 2025. Lee mentioned that whether you want to help in a shop, at the donation center, or in other roles, volunteering is a fantastic way to meet new people, learn new skills, and give back.

There’s a spot for everyone at EHAAT, no matter your background or availability.
