A 28-year-old man was arrested after a dog injured two people at a caravan park in Essex, leading to hospital treatment for the victims
Low Road: Police were called to Haven Caravan Park on Monday afternoon after reports of two people getting hurt. It turns out a dog was involved, and both victims needed hospital care.
Officers got there quickly and found out that a 28-year-old man from Harwich was arrested. He’s been released on bail while they keep investigating.
Sadly, the dog was put to sleep after the incident. Its owner described it as a “much-loved family dog” and said this behavior was totally unexpected.
Chief Insp Ella Latham from Tendring district mentioned that they’re looking into the situation further. She praised the officers for their quick response, which helped secure the dog and keep everyone safe.
