Essex: So, here’s the scoop. From January 10 to 12, some major roads in Essex, like the A12 and M25, are going to be closed. This includes parts of the Dartford Crossing, which is a big deal for anyone traveling through the area.

If you’re planning to hit the road during these dates, you’ll want to pay attention to the detours. It’s always better to be prepared, right?

On Friday, January 10, the A12 southbound will be closed between Junctions 12 and 11 from 9 PM to 5 AM for some electrical work. The northbound side will also see closures between Junctions 23 and 25 during the same hours for reconstruction.

As for the Dartford Crossing, the West tunnel will be shut down from 11 PM to 6 AM for tunnel work. Plus, there’s an entry slip road closure at Junction 1a on the A282 northbound at the same time.

Now, if you’re on the M25, expect some exit and entry slip road closures at Junction 25 and Junction 28, all happening late at night.

Moving on to Saturday, January 11, the A12 is clear, but the Dartford Crossing will have the West tunnel closed from 10 PM to 5 AM for maintenance. The East tunnel will also be closed from 9:30 PM to 5 AM for contraflow work.

On the M25, there will be some closures between Junctions 27 and 28, and a few other spots, but nothing too crazy.

Finally, on Sunday, January 12, the A12 is all good again. But the East tunnel at the Dartford Crossing will be closed from 10 PM to 5 AM for maintenance. The M25 will have some closures too, so keep an eye out.
