Her ex-boyfriend, De’Andre Booker, got arrested recently for lying to the cops. They found a dumpster and some other stuff at his apartment complex, which has raised a lot of eyebrows.
Now, De’Andre hasn’t been charged with anything directly related to Ashley’s disappearance, but it’s still pretty serious. Ashley was last seen on January 2, leaving her home in a grey Chevy Malibu. It’s been over a week, and her family is understandably worried sick.
According to a flyer from her family, she was wearing black leggings and a long black coat with fur around the hood when she disappeared. The police have been searching high and low, but there’s been no sign of her yet.
Her phone last pinged at De’Andre’s place, which is a huge red flag. They even found her car nearby, and the police chief mentioned that foul play might be involved. That’s really alarming, right?
Family spokesman Maurice Morton said that the police found some significant evidence at De’Andre’s home, suggesting that Ashley might have been murdered. It’s just heartbreaking to think about her two young sons, aged 7 and 10, who are waiting for their mom to come back.
Apparently, Ashley had just broken up with De’Andre in September, but he had been acting a bit stalkerish before she went missing. Plus, her phone has been dead since she disappeared, which is totally out of character for her.
