South Central Ambulance Service seeks new board members to enhance leadership and strategic development in healthcare services
Berkshire: So, South Central Ambulance Service is on the lookout for new board members. They want folks who can bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the table.
Professor Sir Keith Willett, the chair, mentioned they’re after two Non-Executive Directors. These people should have solid experience in similar organizations that deal with the public.
They’re particularly interested in candidates with skills in organizational development, transformation, and communication. If you have experience in primary care or emergency services, that’s a big plus!
SCAS is all about providing emergency and urgent care across several counties. They’ve got over 4,700 staff and around 900 volunteers working hard to keep everyone safe.
They really want to hear from a diverse range of candidates, especially those who might not usually get a seat at the board table in the NHS.
The pay for these roles is £13,000 a year, and you’d be expected to work about four days a month. Sounds like a great opportunity, right?
