A family shared memories of Callum Fardell. He was 23 and expecting a baby. Callum died in a crash on January 10th. The accident happened on the A17 at Leadenham.

Callum was from Grantham. His family described him as funny and generous, saying he loved life and family. He easily made friends and was popular, enjoying making people laugh at school.

After school, Callum worked at Harlaxton Engineering with a good team from Mansfield. They taught him their job skills, and Callum often spoke highly of his coworkers.

Callum liked boxing and weight training. He helped local charities often and raised money for good causes. He also loved going on holidays, packing a lot into his short life.

His family said Callum’s death feels cruel. He was excited to become a father, with the baby due in July. He also looked forward to his sister’s wedding, but he won’t get to experience these events.

The family is heartbroken and numb, and they will miss him very much. Callum always hugged them before leaving. They received many cards and flowers. The community will also miss him dearly.

They thanked everyone for their support and said they will never forget Callum. He brought them so much joy. Another man, aged 68, died in the crash, too, and the road closed for three days.
