The ride welcomes all skill levels and ages. People can choose a 12, 20, or 50-mile route. They hope to raise awareness and want to help those struggling.
Danielle once raised money for the Samaritans. She found their support valuable. Her family wants to ensure the Samaritans can help others. They need funds to answer phones and be there.
The cycle rides already raised thousands. This money supports the Samaritans; they help people at risk of suicide. The event happened in 2023 too.
Danielle grew up in Ideford. She went to Cardiff University, where she earned a first-class psychology degree. Later, Danielle worked for the statistics office and helped collect data during Covid.
She loved the Samaritans. Danielle volunteered at Parkrun, and she really enjoyed running. Plus, Danielle loved to bake. She also had a cat named Travis.
This year’s ride starts at Ideford Village Hall. They offer three different route lengths. Even if you don’t cycle, you can still go. They will have tea and cakes, and you can cheer on the cyclists from 11 AM to 4 PM.
