A serious crash involving four vehicles near Perth has left five people hospitalized, prompting an appeal for witnesses.
Perth: Five people were taken to Ninewells Hospital after a nasty four-car crash close to a village in Perthshire. It all went down on the A94 Perth to Forfar road near Balbeggie just before 3:30 PM on Friday.
The crash involved a Mercedes Vito, an Audi A3, a BMW X3, and a DAF truck. The driver of the Audi, a 53-year-old man, and his 51-year-old female passenger, along with three guys in the Mercedes aged 28, 52, and 57, were all rushed to Ninewells in Dundee.
Police say their injuries are serious, which is pretty concerning. The road was closed for a while after the crash but reopened around 1:30 AM on Saturday.
Now, the police are asking for help. Sergeant Brian McEwen is urging anyone who saw the crash or has dash-cam footage to reach out. They want to get the full story of what happened.
