Newport: A fugitive named Luke Ruiz is making waves online after he trolled the police for using a not-so-great mugshot of him in their wanted appeal. Can you believe it?

This 29-year-old guy, who’s suspected of being involved in drug offenses, thinks he looks way better than that photo. He even said the police should have picked a better one!

Ruiz claims he’s living his best life as an influencer in Marbella, Spain, and that the cops could easily reach out to him if they wanted. He was released from prison not long ago when a burglary charge was dropped.

Now, he’s on the run as police are looking for him in connection with a drug supply investigation in Newport. After the police asked for help finding him, he took to social media to share his thoughts.

He posted, “Could have used a better photo. I’m better looking than that, I promise.” He even invited the police to message him directly if they wanted to chat.

Ruiz has quite the following too, with over 4,300 fans on Facebook and more than 1,000 on TikTok. It’s wild how he’s turning this whole situation into a social media moment!
