A new arrest has been made in the stabbing case of journalist Pouria Zeraati in London, as investigations continue into the attack.
Wimbledon: So, there’s been another arrest in that stabbing case involving journalist Pouria Zeraati. It’s been quite a while since the attack happened, about ten months ago.
Zeraati, who works for Iran International, was attacked right outside his home last March. It was a pretty shocking incident, and the police have been on it ever since.
Recently, they nabbed a 40-year-old guy in Cricklewood, North London. He’s suspected of being involved in a conspiracy to cause serious harm. They took him in for questioning but later released him on bail.
They also searched a few places in Cricklewood and Finchley as part of the ongoing investigation. It seems like they’re really digging into this case.
Previously, two Romanian men were arrested after being extradited to the UK. They’re facing serious charges related to the attack and are set to appear in court soon.
It’s a complicated situation, but the police are working hard to get to the bottom of it. Let’s hope for some justice for Zeraati soon.
