A 61-year-old grandmother fell into a sinkhole while trying to rescue her dog, prompting a heroic rescue by strangers in North Yorkshire
Carol was just trying to help her dog Ruby, who had fallen into what looked like a big puddle. But when she rushed over, the ground gave way beneath her, and she plunged into the icy water.
She was completely submerged and had to fight to keep both herself and Ruby afloat. Thankfully, three strangers heard her screams and rushed to help. Carol believes that without their quick action, she might not have made it out alive.
