A Gravesend man was handed a community order after being found with extreme animal porn on his phone
Gravesend: So, there’s this guy, David Lowman, who got caught with some pretty disturbing stuff on his phone. He had 20 images showing sexual acts with dogs. Yikes, right?
When the police looked into it, they found these images after checking out his home. It all went down last August, and he didn’t have much to say when he was asked about it in court.
David, who was just 19 at the time, admitted to having these extreme images. He showed up in court back in December and was waiting for a pre-sentencing report to be done.
Fast forward to January 2, and he was back in court to find out what would happen next. The prosecutor mentioned that he had no previous convictions, which might have helped him a bit.
When the magistrates asked if he wanted to say anything, he just shrugged and said he had nothing to say. They decided to go easy on him, giving him an 18-month community order instead of something harsher.
He’ll have to complete 30 rehabilitation sessions and pay a fine of £40, plus some court costs. Since he’s on benefits, he’ll pay it off at £20 a month. It’s a wild story, but it seems like he’s getting a second chance.
