The Grammy-attending pop star sported a Dodgers cap made with Shetland wool from Abraham Moon & Sons, a historic British textile company.
Eilish is known for unique fashion. She wore a navy blue Dodgers cap. Moon made the cap’s Shetland wool. The company is 188 years old, and only two families have owned Moon.
The mill employs 230 people, many of whom work in Bradford. Moon fabric has dressed celebrities, including Justin Bieber, who wore an overshirt made with it, and Liam Gallagher of Oasis.
Their headquarters has a “Wall of Fame.” Jodie Comer and Gordon Ramsay appear there, and King Charles III is on the wall as well. Moon even made Downing Street upholstery.
The hat had small Union flags on it, and the word “Moon” went with them. Many missed this detail because of her jersey.
Moon was very happy to see Eilish. They are a British textile maker that values long heritage and craftsmanship. They like seeing their fabric used creatively.
Designers around the world use Moon fabric. British wool stays appealing as tradition meets modern style in their designs.
Moon handles everything themselves. They make yarn, weave fabric, and finish materials onsite. This gives them control and uniqueness.
The company ships material to over 50 countries. They export to the US, Japan, Korea, China, Italy, France, and Australia.
