Edgar Maddison Welch, involved in the Pizzagate attack, was shot by police in North Carolina during a traffic stop
Kannapolis: So, this guy Edgar Maddison Welch, who was part of that wild Pizzagate conspiracy back in 2016, got shot by the cops in North Carolina. It all went down during a traffic stop.
He was pulled over, and when the police recognized him, things escalated quickly. Welch had a handgun and didn’t listen when they told him to drop it. That’s when the officers fired their weapons.
Remember back in 2016 when he drove to that pizza place in D.C. and fired a gun inside? Crazy stuff! Luckily, no one got hurt then, but he was all about “self-investigating” that bizarre conspiracy theory.
After that incident, he pleaded guilty to some serious charges and even said he regretted how he handled things. Fast forward to last Saturday, and he ended up in a bad situation again.
He was taken to the hospital but sadly didn’t make it. The officers involved are on administrative leave while the investigation is ongoing. Just a tragic end to a really strange story.
