Guests at the Tan Hill Inn are snowed in for four days, facing fun and food shortages.
North Yorkshire: So, there’s this wild situation at the Tan Hill Inn. Guests and staff have been stuck there for four days because of the snow. Can you believe it? They’re having a bit of fun, but they’re also running low on food, which is a bummer.
The manager, Nicole, chatted with a radio show about how everyone’s feeling. She mentioned that after a big party, folks are nursing some “tender heads.” Sounds like they had a blast, but now it’s pretty quiet in the pub.
They even had to dig out some guests who were staying in a pod outside. Snow drifted over their door! But Nicole said it’s been a good time overall. They had a movie day, watched The Goonies, and even had a snowball fight. How fun is that?
One guest, Paul from Australia, joked about running out of sausages. He was pretty upset about it, saying, “No pork sausages, no more English breakfast. Gutted.” He had to settle for an omelette instead. Poor guy!
Nicole reassured everyone that they still have enough supplies for now, but it’s a bit of a struggle without those sausages. The owner, Andrew, explained that the weather can be tricky, but they’ve been doing this for ages and won’t stop now. They’re all about hospitality, even in a snowstorm!
