Hannah Kobayashi, a 30-year-old woman, has been found safe after disappearing in Los Angeles, bringing relief to her family after a month of worry.
Her family shared their relief, saying they’re grateful for all the support they received during this tough time. They’ve been through a lot, and now they just want some privacy to heal. It’s been a wild ride for them.
Hannah flew into LA on November 8 but didn’t catch her next flight to New York for a photography gig. She told her family she’d missed the flight and planned to crash at the airport. But then things got weird. They started getting strange messages from her phone, talking about hackers and losing her identity. It sounded pretty alarming.
Days later, she was spotted around LA, even at a fancy shopping center. Her last Instagram post hinted she was still in the city, but then her family lost contact. They were really worried and reached out to the public for help.
Tragically, her father was found dead in a parking lot in LA, which was ruled a suicide. That must have been incredibly hard for the family. The police later said Hannah’s disappearance seemed voluntary. She had picked up her bags from the airport and even bought a ticket to the U.S.-Mexico border.
Surveillance footage showed her crossing into Mexico on foot, looking unharmed. It turns out she wanted to disconnect from everything before she left Maui. What a rollercoaster of events for her family and friends!
