Hunting with hounds became illegal in 2005. The Labour party passed the Hunting Act. This happened nearly twenty years ago.

People in Claydon, near Bicester, reported a hunt incident. They contacted the League Against Cruel Sports. The incident happened on Mollington Road, where Ed Miliband owns a cottage.

Residents shared videos taken by doorbells. The videos showed the hunt in the village, causing shock and anger. They said the hunt trespassed on properties and entered a public park.

A resident, who wants to stay anonymous, reported the incident. She thinks the hounds belonged to Bicester Hunt, doubting they were just trail hunting.

She felt very upset seeing the hunt act wild and said they lacked control of their dogs. She worried about her cats near the hounds and fears what they can do.

During the Mollington Road event, a deer ran away towards a busy road, according to residents. Another resident saw a fox running, escaping the hounds.

Chris Luffingham, with the League Against Cruel Sports, spoke about the incident. He said hunts are not wanted and asks the government to strengthen laws.

He wants to end trail hunting loopholes and calls for higher penalties for lawbreakers. He mentioned a need for custodial sentences.

The League contacted Ed Miliband and requested a comment on the issue. They have not received a response yet.
